Why should you read my stuff? That is a difficult question to answer. I guess it may be this. I am a bloke who has had a long life in business circles, mostly in management/leadership/ownership positions.
Strangely, I find that I am almost always surrounded by affluent people looking for ways to become more affluent. For me, I have a people first perspective in life and business. I learned a long time ago from a very successful businessman (who incidentally lost his girlfriend to my father who then became my mother) that in life and business, just because you can have or take something, it doesn't mean you should.
Me? I'm a bit of an unreconstructed lefty who believes in driving society to become more equitable, inclusive and kind. Call me a utopian (or a bit of a wanker) but this is how I view things. Happy to pay more tax, happy to vote for people with a pedigree of community engagement.
Whatever I write will in the end be about people and the relationships between them, except when it's about something completely different.
There you go. Also I come from New Zealand and that moulds people in a particular way. Jump on board and see where we go.
